America takes its clothing sizes very seriously. We even go so far as to mark things in "vanity sizes," which means putting smaller size numbers on clothes to make people feel better about themselves.

But one Japanese clothing company is doing the opposite by labeling their sizes "Skinny," "Fat" and "Jumbo."

They said they're doing that in an effort to make words like "fat" cool, but we're having a hard time picturing a customer asking a salesperson if they have a pair of jeans in a size FAT. (UPI)
